Hostel Conditions:
Office hours 9.00 am to 9.00 pm daily
If arriving after 9 pm please contact a hostel by email or phone us to arrange a late check-in. Early check-in between 9.00 am to 1.00 pm will depend on room availability.
Check-in time: 1.00 pm
Check-out time: 10.00 am
A copy of your confirmation paper and $20 key deposit are required at check-in time.

Transportation to and from the airport
Shuttle Buses:
Shuttle buses operate Airport to/from Point Break 24 hr 7 day.
If you would like to be collected, please let us know beforehand and advise your flight number and arrival time, we will gladly book shuttle bus for you. One way cost is $27 for first person, next person add $5 each

Buses:
Catch numbers 29 airport bus (approx. $7.00) from Christchurch airport to City Bus Exchange and then catch numbers 5, 40 or 83 (approx. $2.80) from the Central City Bus Exchange to Point Break Backpackers, New Brighton, Christchurch.

Driving:
For those driving from the airport Queen Elizabeth Drive will take you to well sign posted New Brighton and from the city via Pages road or Wainoni Roads will also lead you to New Brighton.

When in New Brighton Seaview Road it is the road leading to the mall and turn right to Union Street. Our absolute Thai restaurant and backpackers entrance is located on Union Street and Car parking on the Corner off Union Street and Beresford Streets.
